How’s Your Heart Today?

“O Lord, do good to those who are good, whose hearts are in tune with you” (Psalm 125:4).

A heart in tune with God is a heart God will bless with all of his goodness.

The first task of morning is attunement. Attunement is more important than alignment. Have you ever met a soul in tune with God who deliberately chose to walk out of alignment with God? Probably not.

So many days I awake with a song on my mind, a tune in my heart. My wife and the rest of the earth are well pleased when I do not attempt to sing it aloud. Yet the soundtrack of my spirit resounds with songs of worship, praise, and thanksgiving.
